Paytm pulled off from the Google play store.

Google recently kicked Paytm and its only fantasy sports application, Paytm First Games, out of the playstore for reportedly breaching its gambling rules.

According to the regulations, Google doesn’t approve online casinos or unauthorized gaming applications that make betting on the Play Store easier. The same applies to applications that direct users to online sites, which lets them compete in paying competitions to earn actual money or cash incentives. The very same Play Store rules are regularly introduced and imposed on all creators.

Paytm, which is estimated to have more than 50 million active monthly users, supports fantasy sports within the main application. It also provides over 50 similar games expected to engage more than 80 million gaming fans through its exclusive Paytm First Games application.

Paytm First Games has recently become even more popular with cricket giant Sachin Tendulkar as the brand ambassador to increase awareness of its fantasy sports category. Paytm First Games have revealed that Rs 300 Crore would be investing in marketing and advertising this year.
