A war of words had risen up between Kangana Ranaut’s sister and veteran actor Shabana Azmi after the latter’s comment on an interview after being asked about Kangana. Azmi in an interview with Mumbai Mirror had said that Kangana’s outrageous statements are only a reflection of her fear of becoming less relevant or popular over time. Azmi claimed that Kangana has been doing this for publicity and should only stick to acting.
Outraged by the comments, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel took to Instagram to slam Shabana Azmi’s comment and expressed anguish against both Azmi and her husband, lyricist Javed Akhtar. The Instagram post read some questions raised by Rangoli for Azmi and her husband, as she asks them to stick to acting and poetry respectively. Rangoli also slammed saying that the husband-wife duo actively participates in anti-national politics. Previously, Rangoli also alleged that Javed Akhtar had “threatened” Kangana in connection with her refute with actor Hrithik Roshan.
