Yogi claims that justice needs to be served to the Hathras case victim

Yesterday, the case of Hathras ‘alleged’ gang rape had a hearing at the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court with the presence of the full family of the victim. The father, mother and three brothers of the teen who was brutally raped and had her tongue cut when she was admitted to the hospital were brought to court under top security protocols. Pankaj Mithal and Rajan Roy were present on the bench of justices on Monday hearing. The court has summoned the additional chief secretary, home; DG of Police; ADG, Law and Order; Superintendent of Police of the constituency; and the District Magistrate for a detailed report on the case. Yogi, has defended his state and supported the cause of justice publicly in an interview the day before the hearing showing their request for a CBI probe. The case is taken up again on November 2^nd.
