The provisional schedule of NEET PG 2021 and MD are out, NBE announces the dates.

The National Board of Examination holds the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test- Postgraduate, Foreign Medical Graduate Examination and DNB Post Diploma Centralised Entrance Exam each year in the month of January.

The provisional schedules of the said examinations for the year 2021 have been released by NBE on their website according to which the NEET-PG 2021 will be held on January 10 and the NEET MDS will be held on December 4, 2020.

Both the examinations are required for Medical students planning to pursue post-graduation studies within the country. The PMGE December 2020 examination will be held on December 4 and the DNB Post Diploma Centralised Entrance Test will be on January 28, 2021.

However, these dates are provisional and are subject to change in the face of unavoidable circumstances as and when the National Board of Examination deems necessary.

The NEET-PG this year was conducted on January 5, 2020. The test was taken by 1,60,888 candidates and had a qualification percentage of 55 %

An official bulletin released by the NBE read, “The Information Bulletin and the Application forms for the above mentioned examinations shall be published on NBE website https://nbe.edu.in in due course”

In order to apply for NEET-PG 2020, the candidates should have a MBBS degree pass certificate at the time of the examination from a recognised institution. They should posses permanent or provisional registration certificates that are issued on the successful completion of the MBBS degree by the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council.
