The existing drug racket within the Sandalwood arena is coming under the limelight with multiple names of showstars associated with it. Many business persons are also being arrested or kept under supervision for having direct links with the drug racket.
Among them is industrialist Srinivas Subramanian. Srinivas was arrested from his flat on Sunday for possessing drugs like ecstasy tablets, ganja, hashish, MDMA. All of these were found from his residency during his arrest period.
The police are conducting the investigation to find out who all were associated with him, and one name that came up was Ragini Dwivedi. Ragini Dwivedi visited Srinivas’s house thrice or more before he got arrested.
Srinivas has been arranging rave parties at his Bangalore flat where many known faces came, and Ragini Dwivedi was one of them. Ragini Dwivedi’s close associate in an encounter with police investigation gave a statement and said that Srinivas and Vybhav Jain hosted many parties on the outskirts where they used to book farmhouses and invite people, and everyone would engage in the consumption of drugs over there.
Ragini Dwivedi was very closely associated with Srinivas Subramanian and his wife; hence she is a major suspect now. She will be going through a major investigation process where her statement will be recorded, and evidence will be examined as well.
