Zarina Wahab, the Veteran actress, was discharged from the city hospital, earlier this Sunday. She was tested positive 5 days ago, as per the reports by Dr. Jalil Parkar.
The actress is 61-years old and well-known for movies like Gharonda, My name is Khan, Chitchor as well as Dil Dhadakne Do. She was taken to Lilavati hospital, earlier last week when she complained of falling short of breaths and fever.
Dr. Jalil Parka, who was the doctor for Zarina Wahab informed me that she was taken to the hospital early last week, around 14th and 15th September. She was then tested positive when she reported falling short of breath and high temperature. She was next treated for five days, after which, she got fine and was taken home.
Once asked whether the star had come back negative for the infection, Parkar said that the doctors would be capable of discharging the patients whether they recovered from COVID-19.
The doctor also said that the COVID 19 cynicism need not be followed right now. They were the previous guidelines and have been changed. The doctors can send the patient home now. Even when the patient is positive but recovering, she can be sent home and asked to isolate for at least 14 days, from the day that person has been tested positive.
