Police raided five pubs in Bengaluru in connection with current drug probe

A team of cops from the central crime branch has raided five pubs in Bengaluru in connection with its on-going crackdown against the drug racket in the city. The pubs were searched on Saturday night, October 3.

Joint Commissioner of Police in Bengaluru, Sandeep Patil released a brief statement yesterday. He said that they found in the drug investigation that generally, drugs are supplied and consumed in some pubs in the city, hence, they issued searched warrants were taken and five pubs were busted and searched yesterday night. However, the police have not shared any information regarding the outcomes of the raids.

The police have started the investigation after Narcotics Control Bureau busted a drug racket in Bengaluru. The police further initiated the drive against the drug abuse leading to several arrests of few Kannada film actresses, party organizers, and drug peddlers.
