Inauguration of Gyan Circle Ventures

Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ who is the Union Minister for Education has practically officially launched the Gyan Circle Projects, which is a MeitY-funded TBI from the Indian Institute of Information and Technology, Sri City which is in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh via a teleconference here currently. Shri Amit Khare, who is the Secretary of Higher Education in Shri. Ajay Prakash Sawhney who is the Secretary in MeitY, as well as Shri Satish Chandra who is the Special Secretary, HE, in the Government of Andhra Pradesh; along with, Shri. Bala M.S. Chairman with the Board of Governors from IIT Sri City Chittoor; as well as Shri. Srinivasa C. Raju, who is the Chairman, in Sri City; together with, Prof. G. Kannabiran, who is the Director in IIT Sri City Chittoor, including senior leaders of the Ministry, were there to grace the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Pokhriyal Ji said that creativity is the vehicle that drives the nation’s growth. He also said that we ought to nurture innovation as well as entrepreneurship in order to make sure that we would be self-sustaining and continue to stay a figurehead at the high end of scientific and technological.

To help innovators as well as start-ups via funding, infrastructure and help in different phases, the Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank,’ has practically launched the Gyan Circle Projects. A MeitY-funded TBI of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sri City (Chittoor), Andhra Pradesh by the means of a video call on 8th October.

‘Gyan Circle ventures’ also can instil entrepreneurship in today’s youth and handle them in becoming effective innovators, the Minister stated.

Simultaneously maintaining with the culture of innovation, the TBI, Gyan Circle Ventures, will be launched by IIIT Sri City in 2020. Gyan Circle Ventures will serve as just a Technology Incubation as well as Entrepreneur Creation (TIDE 2.0) incubation centre as authorized by the MeitY, he said.

He also said that the incubator could harness the creative spirit of the organisations through the use of its human resources and the use of emerging technology such as AI, including Block-chain, Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), including Cyber Security, Internet of Things, as well as Robotics, etc.
