Police search house of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi to look for his brother-in-law in connection with a drug case

The Central Crime Branch officials reportedly searched Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi’s house as they look for Aditya Alva, his brother-in-law in connection with a drug case.

Initially, the probe into this issue was started by the Narcotics Control Bureau where they conducted several raids in Bengaluru which includes Aditya’s house. However, the Central Crime Branch has expanded the investigation.

The Sandalwood racket involves many singers and actors from the Kannada film industry and Aditya Alva is another name that propped up along with the names of some prime accused such as Shivaprakash Chuppi and Sheik Faazil. Aditya is the son of former Karnataka minister Jeevaraj Alva who has been allegedly absconding since the start of the crackdown against drug suppliers, peddlers, and rave party organisers. Some of the actresses such as Sanjjanaa Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi are under judicial custody for their connection with the drug probe.
