On September 9, the United Airlines announced the launch of the first non-stop flight between south India and the United States. The airline announced a new route will be in force from spring 2021 between San Fransisco (SFO) and Bengaluru. From October 3, the reservations for the much-awaited flight service have opened up for the customers. The direct flight service is likely to start its operation from May 6, 2021.
This new service has brought Silicon Valley closer to south India. The American Carrier United Airlines has beaten the American Airlines as they were to start a non-stop flight service between Bengaluru and Seattle in the winter of 2020; however, it was postponed by a year due to the pandemic.
United Airlines has been a trusted company as they are serving India non-stop flight services for 15 years. The airline company has come up with its first of a kind provision for their customers to travel non-stop between the US and India.
